Frankenstein Base
(For Aurora/Monogram/etc.

Frankenstein Base Front
This is the Monogram "Luminators" reissue of the base for Aurora's classic Frankenstein kit. The basic assembly was augmented with putty "grass" to blend the head- and footstones into the base. The nameplate is a resin casting; the design of the lettering was based on that of the original box art.

Frankenstein Base Back
The hollow back of the Vertical Head Stone was closed off with a piece of sheet styrene, actually a section cut from a yard sign. The plastic has been textured to match the rest of the kit part.

Frankenstein Base Pins
A wood base always adds to the presentation of a model. The square styrene tubes epoxied into the wood craft plaque will fit into sections of larger tubes affixed to the underside of the kit base. The brass tubes on top of the base will provide a much more secure attachment of the figure to the base.

STAR TREK
U.S.S. ENTERPRISE
Blueprints
Going by the stardates on the plans, this set of blueprints was released in 1973 or '74 by Franz Joseph Designs. That means they predate THE STARFLEET TECHNICAL MANUAL book by about a year.

STAR TREK
U.S.S. ENTERPRISE: Sheets 1-4
Blueprints
I may have picked this set of blueprints at the 1974 STAR TREK convention that was held in Chicago, I've forgotten just when I purchased them. The set looks authentic, but is clearly not the Ballantine Books edition. It may be one of the early plans that Franz Joseph Schnaubelt released before the arrangement with the publisher was made. Beyond what I have stated here, I can make no claim about them, except that they show some yellowing but the set is otherwise complete.

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN Publications

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE Numbers 1-3 (Front Covers)
Here are the first three issues of the foremost AoS fan publication by Jim Nolt. Issue #1 appeared in 1987, #2 in Autumn of 1988, and #3 is dated Autumn 1989. They have been well cared for but do show some use.

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE Numbers 1-3 (Back Covers)
The back covers display line art by Randy Garrett and Mark McGovern.

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE Numbers 4-6 (Front Covers)
The next three issues of THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE have publishing dates of Summer 1990 for #4, Autumn 1990 for #5, and Spring 1991 for #6. These books have been treated the same as the first three.

ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE Numbers 4-6 (Back Covers)
The back cover feature artwork by William David Brown, Randy Garrett, and Mark McGovern (logo).

SUPERMAN ON TELEVISION
This is an early softcover edition of the book by Michael Bifulco. It bears a copyright date of 1987, so I might have purchased it at the 1989 International Superman Convention that year in Cleveland. The front cover of the book has separated, but it's otherwise intact and in good shape. There's a loose leaf with an ad for Superman merchandising and a subscription form for THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE inside the book.
